The A7r , LAEA 4 and Sigma 35mm f1.4 ART are incredible for image quality. However, I am noticing the Sigma focuses slow compared to even my Minolta Maxxum primes, and I have to focus manually to get into range for the autofocus to work reasonably fast.. I was a bit surprised by this to say the least given the Sigma is the latest technology. So I am wondering if the Camera needs a specific setting , firmware update, or if I need the Sigma dock to update the lens? I rented the Zeiss 35.. 2.8 and thought that was way more responsive. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
