Abstract

The more I think about abstraction re photography--given that the camera is a recording device, not a brush loaded with pigment in a hand responding to the mind's peculiar cues and impulses to be nonrepresentational--, the more I know I should think less and shoot more.

Sometimes the abstraction comes from mechanical accidents--like the frame advance kerfuffle I had with a roll in the Pen FT. So the post-processor mind tries to make a lemonade from the lemons in the exposures.
