Accessory viewfinder for 135mm lens?

I see that an accessory viewfinder is available for the canon 135mm. At least in the case of the canon 7, there is no accessory shoe, plus it has 135mm frame lines . So why the separate viewfinder? Is it for a specific canon rf?

Most if not all earlier Canon RF cameras needed one for that focal length. Earlier Canon RF cameras had a switchable viewfinder that magnified the image but I do not think any of these correspended to a 135mm. Hence the need for an accessory finder.

The Canon 135mm "tube" finder is OK but it gives a very "pokey" and small image so your eyes had better be pretty good otherise you will struggle.
