Feeling a bit stupid here. I was mixing up a batch of Diafine.... and mixing solution B with some warm water in my measuring cylinder when I managed to shatter my glass thermometer while using it as a stirrer. I know, bad idea, but it's too late now. :bang: There was a small amount of undissolved solution B powder at the bottom of the cylinder, as well as copious amounts of alcohol and blue dye, and bits of broken glass. I had to chuck out the contents of the cylinder along with the undissolved precipitate at the bottom, maybe about two teaspoons worth.
I have mixed up the rest of the solution B powder, I have just under a quart (~ 960 ml, I think I have approx 950ml) and now I am worried that the proportions aren't quite right, because of my accident with the thermometer. How will this affect my use of this Diafine batch, does anyone know?
