Check out the picture under the caption "x-rayed by dag" and them the description below the picture.

Was it an accidentally shot or is the Fuji marketing doing some hyping and watching our reaction via all the different blogs and forums or wishful thinking by this blogger ??

Could just be some mock ups that will never see the light of day.

Probably the later. Just a bunch of prototypes. Similar to what Samsung did a few years back in an interview about mirrorless cameras. There was a couple of really amazing looking cameras in the mix including an analog rangefinder with dials and a square shaped camera that was purported to have a square sensor. Rumors spread like crazy. Ultimately turned out to be absolutely nothing. Oh well...

Since I apparently took a photo that causes some speculation, let me clarify a few things:

- All the cameras on the table are part of the design process (most of the just mock-ups) of the original X100. I don’t want to disappoint anyone but there are no new cameras there.
- Yes, we discussed possible future lenses and whatever you see on the sheet in the background were notes made during that discussion. This turned into a very lengthy discussion that started with our own wishes and evolved into a much broader list not in function of our needs but in function of what would benefit a wide range of X-photographers (my suggestion of an 800mm f4 didn’t make the cut). In the end we agreed upon a list of lenses from low-end to pro level, from wide to tele, zooms, primes, macro, …
- Keep in mind that this was a brain storm session, nothing less, nothing more. I’m sure the people at Fujifilm value our opinions but it’s not like we are suddenly in charge of the company. Our opinions are just one of many elements they take into account when deciding what to develop next. Brain storm notes are NOT the new lens roadmap.

Hope that clarifies thing a bit.
