Acronyms I don't know

Being new to this forum and RF's in general, there are a ton of acronyms I don't know.

Some are easy to figure out. i.e. SLR, DSLR, MF, AF etc.

Some have me baffled: e.g. DR Summicron?

Can anyone post examples of more rare acronyms and their meanings for us neophytes?

BD = black dial, RD = red dial , for types of Leica IIIf 's ,regarding its syncro dial type and shutter difference.
ST or DA is for self timer or delayed action.

ELCAN or ELC = E.LEITZ CANADA

FSU - former soviet union, in reference to Fed, Zorki, & Kiev cameras & their accessories...

GAS - gear acquisition syndrome (an unavoidable condition here on RFF)
