Acufine shelf life?

Anyone want to comment on the longevity of Acufine stock solution, assuming it's been tightly capped with no airspace and stored in the cool dark developer nook downstairs?

I've been looking online and through the docs I have here with no real agreement between any of the numbers. I do suppose a test roll or three is in order, but I figured checking with the experts might save me some grief...

Test. I've used it as a tank developer, replenished, and it's lasted for months, maybe even a year, but I've also had it crash unexpectedly, most likely due to heat exposure, I think.

I first experienced this after going away for a few weeks and running six 4x5" negs in my Acufine tank and having them all come out blank. I tested with a film leader, and the developer was dead. I later learned that while we were traveling, the air conditioning in our building went out for three days, so I suspect heat as the cause.

Mmm. I did turn the AC off while I was out last month, sounds like I'll probably end up with a fresh batch. Thanks.
