Back to film
I've just put a roll of film through some 18 month old Aculux and it came out fine. Looks like Crawley really did crack the shelf life issue.
Then again, the Paterson bottles make it easy to store the chemical without much/any air in the bottle, at least until you've used a reasonable quantity.

I've been using my bottle for the past 6 months or so, so far, no problems.

An old thread but came up on my search! As I spend two to three months at a time out of the country, I found that I was having to dispose of too much Ilfosol 3 due to oxidisation (the stated shelf-life does not have much margin!). Looking for an alternative I came across Aculux 3 but neither the data sheet nor Paterson's web site give a figure for shelf-life. I have emailed Paterson Sales for info but in the meantime does anyone have any data?
