My 15mm ASPH won't line up properly on the L-M adapters (both no brand and Voigtlander ones). I know it probably isn't going to matter (in terms of focus accuracy) but I find it strange that Voigtlander can't make a decent screw mount. Every FSU lens I have lines up well when screwed into the Voigtlander adapter (yeah Ruskies:D ).

Anyone have similar problems?

As far as I know, all Heliar 15mm's have this feature. Not really a problem though.
When I had a FED2, the Heliar was unusably far off the right spot.

Strange indeed. The measurements of the 39mm thread are not that difficult...

OK with shaky hands and a trembling heart, I am going to take apart my new Heliar. Wish me luck.

I just wish they got it right in the first place.

I've tinkered with my Heliar. Disappointed. After many attempts, it still wouldn't line up perfectly (from 5mm to the right of top dead center initially to 1mm to the left of t.d.c. after tinkering), nothing like the spot on accuracy of my FSU lenses.

Fortunately, from where I bought it there is a 7 day exchange policy. So, I am going to take my R3A (along with the voigtlander adapter) there and try out god-knows-how-many lenses till I find one that lines up, or I die of frustration, disappointment and/or exhaustion.

p.s. I found that even my FSU lenses don't line up when I use a no-name L-M adapter. But since the industar doesn't have a built in shade like the Heliar, I am guessing that I won't causse vignetting. Worse case, the adapter is too thick/thin I would only loose infinity focus and probably the would not be able to use the distance scale, but the lens would still focus correctly via the rangefinder. Am I correct to assume this?
