Adapter Ring

Hi Folks - I'm about to purchase the 21mm Skopar lens. Am I correct in assuming that the "M-Bayonet Adapter Ring for 28mm & 90mm Screw-Mount Lenses" Voigtlander makes is the correct ring to buy to go along with this lens? I'll be using it on my RD-1 and occasionally on my "T". Thanks in advance.

any ring should work, the different rings just bring up different frame lines automatically on a Leica M series camera

Any screw to M Bayonet adapter will work with the R-D1. The different versions only apply to Leica M cameras as the tabs on them set the required framelines in the Leica viewfinder. The R-D1 has manual switching of framelines and for a 21mm you need an external finder in any case. Just avoid really cheap adapters as these sometimes can introduce focus problems. Leica or VC should be OK.
