Hi guys, I was wondering if there's any adapter for the voigtlander lenses so that we can use it on Nikon's SLRs.
This may be impossible but if there's any, I'd like to try it since I don't have the money to buy voigt's SLR lenses. 🙁
Thanks in advance. 😀

The flange-to-film/sensor distance on an F is about 15mm greater than the flange-to-film/sensor distance on an M, so it's like installing a 15mm extension tube BEFORE you consider the thickness of the adapter.

This is why Leica screw-to-bayonet adapters are so thin: flange-to-film distance is 1mm LESS on an M than on a screw-mount.

Cheers,

R.

I found an adapter for LTM to Pentacon Six, or even to Mamiya 645-- someone made the adapter, but it sure magnified an image in the center of the field of view of the MF cameras. Now you have a clue as to the kinds of things I have in the drawers of my house that should be much better organized. ;-)

Maybe I will try the 12mm Cosina?

I also tried to use some of my Pentax SM lenses on a Nikon F2-- no hope of inf. focus, but I found the adaper, it's in a different drawer I am sure. Cannot break the laws of physics.

Regards, John
