Adding "CPU" to AI lens (35/1.4?)

Has anyone here done the "CPU conversion" on one of their Nikon AI lenses?

Most curious if anyone has accomplished this on a 35/1.4 AI.

Really want to obtain Matrix metering and exif without manual input.
I see some of the eBay chips still will not work with F4/5 or N90s.

Although I wonder if my N90 would Matrix with the chip...

Any input appreciated!

The 35/1.4 requires a custom chip.

Clearly it can be done,

I'm more interested in the physical process of getting it done myself.
