Adding Tab to 50mm Summicron - Who's The Best?

My first RF was a Bessa with the CV 50 f2.5 and after borrowing a friend's 35mm 'cron over the weekend, I realize how much I miss a focusing tab on my latest gen 50mm 'cron.

Who does this modification and what is the ballpark cost? Are there any pitfalls to doing it - focus throw issues, etc?

Put a cable tie around the lens barrel and clip it short. Instant focusing tab. You can buy them in black for black lenses and clear for chrome lenses. The major cost will be fuel for the trip to Home Depot or your local hardware store.

He does a great job, and I love that lens even more now.
