My M8 has recently started focussing slightly off, so I will need to adjust the infinity setting.
Does anyone know what I will need - is it a torx-like socket? I find it hard to see what shape the head of the setting screw has... Looks to me that it is either a special size of umbraco, or something starlike depending on whether it is the top or lower segment of the head that should take the tool.
Or is it something proprietary to Leica?
Normally I would not hesitate too much to try out with a few available tools, but with a digital sensor just millimeters from I am worried about metal fragments...

You need a 2mm Allen wrench, there are threads over at the l-users forum.

Aha! Thanks a lot!
It really did not feel like it would fit, I have tried once. Knowing it is what is needed it is easier being just a little more determined, and that should probably do the trick!
In a way it is an improvement from the old RFs, as it is easy to come by a 2 mm allen, and they are shaped for the purpose anyhow...
