Adjusting to fuji xe1/2

Thanks Paul! Yes, cello. Next time I'll get lower to keep verticals from diverging. Got a few ideas for foreground subjects.

Adjusted perspective and into b+w. needs more space around everything.

So I've pared down to just my new Xe2 body and a kijiji 16-50 zoom. I like the wide end (24 equiv) but I really miss a lens aperture ring. I keep forgetting to check what the A setting is giving me. One from this misty morning:

Is there a way to have you new baby display the basics (ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed) on the back panel all the time? As you have the shutter speed on the dial perhaps just the aperture. Not sure if you're using the EVF or the LCD.

Might be an option but then again they may display the info so small that it may be less than perfect to easily check pre-capture.

BTW, I really like the colors and feel of the shot above.

First, thanks. Fuji jpeg colour, plus Snapseed.

The necessary info is right there on both screens, I just need to learn to take notice of it there. Part of the adjustment I guess.

Rather like having the shutter speed in viewfinder rather than just a meter needle.

Practice, practice, practice my friend, I'm sure it will come. Just some minor rewiring in the flow.

like on a rangefinder, i keep the aperture set at 5.6 all the time and change it as i want/need to…helps me remember to think about it.

The hand grip from eBay China finally arrived. It sure makes the camera easier to grip. I like it, based on the 1/2 hour that I've had it. :)

If i want a smaller package, I can remove the left side bracket since I don't have that type of tripod connection anyway.

I like the protection it offers as well.
