Adjusting vertical alignment on an r3m ?

I found a site that indicated I would have to remove the hotshoe and poke around with the far right screw beneath. But it didn't change anything! I tightened the screw back to it's original position, and it doesent look like I messed anything up

Does anyone have a really good pic or set of instructions on how to do thus?

Some nine years of producing rangefinders and still Cosina can't get this right. Love the cameras. Not pleased with Cosina's inability to correct this once and for all.
