Hello all,
Further to my past thread about my lack of ability to focus the Nokton 1.1 and mid to long distance on my Zeiss Ikon, I'd like to get the pair looked at by a professional.

I've been recommended Malcolm Taylor, but I thought I'd asked about to see if there is anyone else in the UK (ideally London) who could take a look at this. It would appear the problem might be in the lens not the camera, so I'd like someone competent with both so I can rest assured that whatever the issue, it's going to get fixed.

I've heard CRR Luton is good, but has a long waiting list, is there anyone else?

Thanks

Garry

I have a M8 which is calibrated properly, but I live a in Basingstoke...

Perhaps someone with an M8 or M9 in London could help you check the lens is OK?

I'll check out Newton Ellis, thanks.

I may pop down to a dealer and ask to try the Nokton on an M8 or M9, at least find out where the problem is, camera or lens.

here's a couple of places to try. The first is mostly camera body stuff. If lens requires special work I think they send to the second.

I haven't used them but spoke ti camserve a while back and they suggested kingsviewoptical now that balham optical have closed.

By lens requiring special work I mean if it needs stripping down and elements needing polishing or coating. If its just shimming then I think camserve will do it.
