administrator 60 second delay messages

not sure if there are others, but i am basically locked out of posting anything to the site, as it gives me a message saying the administrator requires i wait 60 seconds between posts...for *every* post. i have noticed that others are posting, so this seems like an issue w/ an individual account (mine). any others? of course...they can't easily post if that is the case, they'd have to re-register.

I had an issue sending PMs myself. Some adjustments, I believe, are still being made.

yeah...seems like yours was restricted to PMs. mine is to posting anything. hence the new duplicate account i had to sign up. really frustrating, as it was a catch .22! 🙄 luckily there are ways around it though for now 😀

It seems that this site has multiple problems - some related to the server transition and others related to the malicious DOS attacks.

At least that's how it seems after today.

When I could get onto the site I got the Admin Response error message. As Jorge notes, this is apparently a system glitch.

But I also had many instances where I could not get into the site at all.

I notice that this problem commences around 09:00 EDT. There seems to be a brief "window of access" aroun 14:45 EDT that lasts about 30 minutes.

Then access is again denied until aroudn 19:00 EDT.

Several thoughts come to mind:

1) The "attacker" is NA (or Western Hemisphere) based and is setting her/his computer at home into attack mode while at work.

2) Same setting as above, but attacker uses a workplace computer - which explains the window (i.e. "lunchtime").

3) The attacker is Euro (Eastern Hemisphere) based and attacks in the late afternoon through pre-midnight hours there.

Just some observations.....

Could be you hit the "submit" button twice, inadvertently. Normal message then.

Glad to see things are fixed, and I'm again able to blather some more... err... I mean post at will! Well, maybe... it took about 7 minutes to the posting process to jam, then I waited another 7 minutes and it didn't clear by itself so I forced a refresh and that succeeded.

Wow, same for my post count, short by about 1700!
