Available today- the 60 second review is that it looks nice, great potential, but seems to go off and calculate the new image before I've finished with the settings. The tutorial examples stall/hang a bit on my iPad 2. Might need to upgrade to the iPad 3

Ok - after an hour or so of playing around - I'm happy with the purchase.

It is very easy to use and very powerful. I can see using the app a lot

Basic layers and selections, masking clone tools etc along with umpteen effects and filters

I don't know photoshop at all but was able to be productive following the tutorials

Kudos Adobe. And at $9.99 , a lot cheaper than the full program

Yep - a quick check does show it downsizes on import to 1600x1600 max
Not sure how hard of a limit this is, I.e. either due to CPU which will change for the better with iPad 3, or market segmentation
I have to say , it is pretty cool for web images, maybe not enough pixels or heavy duty users

Can it really only handle 1600x1600 images ?
Does it downscale on import of real camera images ?

Here's a flickerized medium size of a line drawing transform of an X100 image, original was 4288x2848
