ADOX 25 the same as EFKE 25 ???

Adox films are manufactured by Efke, but to specifications from Adox, so there is slight difference.

While I prefer the Rollei Pan 25, I found one of my best shots was from Efke KB25.

ADOX Pan-25 may be different. At one time Freestyle listed this film as being made in Germany. EFKE films are made in Croatia, not Germany. As far as I know, there is only one company making film in Germany. Filmo-tec, which was formed from the remains of the old ORWO company of East Germany. I'm guessing that ADOX Pan-25 is an updated version of the old ORWO NP-15 emulsion. I hope that this is the case, as I liked the ORWO films I used to buy from Freestyle.

Somewhere - I can't remember where - I read that Adox films are made in Croatia by EFKE but under stricter and higher standard quality control.

There are three different ADOX films with 25 ASA - ortho, CHS and PAN. The CHS is EFKE25.
Not all ADOX films are manufactured by EFKE. Some are from german Filmotec and then there is the reviving of APX100 and APX400 going on.

Adox CHS 25 is exactly the same film as Efke 25 from Fotokemika in Croatia. These films are a copy on Polyester base from the Dr. Schleussner/Adox Dupont emulsions in the 50's.
Under Adox brand you can have all type of different manufacturers.
