Just had an email from Freestyle photo announcing that ADOX B & W reversal film is back. I have not used this one in the past. I know some of you have. Is it worth buying a few rolls? What are it's pros and cons. What type of developing?
Might give it a try if you recommend it.

Would anyone be kind enough to explain, briefly, what it is that makes DR5 so special, please? It's not the first time I've seen their site and, as with previous visits, hard information on exactly what it is that makes their process so much better than a standard B & W reversal process seems conspicuous by its absence.
Thanks,
Brett

Their process is proprietary so you won't find any detail.

I got some rolls developed by DR5 and the output was exemplary. Whatever they do, they do it well. The process looked particularly lovely when used on 120 format TXP 320 or PX. It was also some of the cleanest processing I've ever had done, anywhere. This was a long time (>15 years) ago.

Thanks, Marty. I'll stop assuming I'm the only person in the "room" who doesn't know the details, now. It was starting to feel a bit like that. ;)
OT but, Do you know Paul Atkins at all? The film world in Adelaide must be relatively small. Larger than Hobart's, of course.
Cheers,
Brett

I just noticed DR5 has the reversal service up and running again. They do a great job with that. The were out of commission for a year or two.
