Best results for me came from HC110

This surprises me actually. I would have thought HC110 would not have worked well. Excellent news.

Also ran some in Xtol 1:1 these at 11 mins, NikonS2 Sonnar 50mm f1.5

I've become interested in finding a film that I can develop in the tank alongside Tri-x and I felt that Silvermax might be THE ONE. However I use XTOL diluted 1:1 for 9 minutes at 20C for Tri-x. Adox's advice is to develop Silvermax at the same time as for APX100 less 10% which would bring it to the same time. Did you find that 11 minutes was a little too much development ie were your highlights blocking?

Has anyone else tried Silvermax in XTOL 1:1? What were your thoughts?
