Given current outdoor weather conditions (driving rain passing my patio windows at 23 mph sideways...), I'm playing about with photos for the duration.
I saw this on the last leg of my walk yesterday, was out of film in the Voigtländer Perkeo II, but had to grab it with something.

Adrift – Santa Clara 2023
iPhone 11 Pro, Moment camera app
ISO 80 @ f/2 @ 1/120 @ 6mm
Raw capture processed in SnapSeed on iPad Pro 12.5"
Border added with Lightroom Classic on Mac mini
enjoy, G

The best camera is one that still works!
I like the photo Godfrey ... and I also think that the devices we choose to take photos with are not to be judged.

Finally, a phone photo thread! There should be no shortage of terrific images for this thread to share with everyone!
From my wife's Galaxy whatever phone;
I had a little bit of skin cancer to be dealt with. All good now. A perfect example of how and when to use a phone camera.
All the best,
Mike

I went on a iPhone specific photo walk last week... didn't carry any other camera, just the iPhone with the Apple Camera app, the Moment Camera app, and the ShakeIt Photo camera app. I ended up using the ShakeIt Photo app almost exclusively...
The result was a set of 30 fauxlaroids (simulated Polaroid SX-70 treatment). They are minimally processed and rendered to size, output and posted to flickr.com. Here's #12 of the set.
The rest of the set is available in this Flickr album:
A Walk in Late March 2023
I also collated the entire set into a slideshow using Lightroom Classic and posted that to YouTube:
The ShakeIt Photo app effectively makes the iPhone into a fun SX-70 derivative.
enjoy! G

iPhone cameras (5s upwards) are capable of great results, when the light is right.

Well-known
I am not a huge fan of shooting iPhones, but they can take good pictures. They may be the best street cameras (no one notices them). Here are a couple I like; in both cases I had no other camera with me.
