Advice on photo encyclopaedia needed pls

Can anybody recommend me a good technical photo encyclopaedia in English? I have The Oxford Companion to the Photograph (which is not technical at all) and Ansel Adams' 3 part series but need something which - preferably - deals with lenses, cameras and digital. It does not need to have a huge section on darkroom though. I am thinking brick sized volume(s) that is currently available.

The Focal Encyclopaedia of Photography (Focal Press, England) might be what you want.

Ditto on the Focal Encyclopedia. While not an encyclopedia, I can recommend Photographic Materials and Processes by Stroebel et al.
