About 5 years ago I picked up a GSN at a yardsale for the unbelieveable price of $2! I went to Radio Shack bought a battery saw that it seemed to work and put it a side.
After reading on this site just how great these cameras are, I decided to try it out. There are no foam light seals (I ordered a kit from Jon) so I kept the bottom of the ER case on the camera.
I am happy to report that everything that is said about the excellent lens on these cameras is true! I wish I had tried it out a long time ago instead of let lay around in the closet. Some examples are at:
