The GAS never stops!! Although the money isn't exactly falling out my pockets, I'm looking to invest in another lens, shock horror!
I have the lovely Summicron f/2 collapsible on the IIIc (but the IIIc is awaiting a servicing and RF replacement so the rangefinder is actually usable!!) but the I-50 on the Leica Standard needs upgrading.
So I was thinking, what's the best shot? Pay for another (non)collapsible f/2-ish lens for the IIIc (not a Jupiter lens though, I've only just given away my J-8 as a present to Lauren) and move the collapsible Summi onto the Standard, or look into another f/2 collapsible for the Standard and keep the Summi on the IIIc??
Opinions welcome... and if anyone has a lens that fits either bill at a good price let me know 😀
EDIT: This is dancing on the line of a WTB advert I know, but I'm asking for a bit of help rather than just lens offers.... thought I'd add I have that Zeiss Jena Sonnar f/2 collapsible (not in the best of conditions, some scratches so low contrast) in Contax/Kiev mount if someone wanted to part-ex or trade a lens 😉
