Aftermarket batteries and the M9. . .

Ok as an update. These work fine, but need to be fully discharged to show actual charge when used with the M9. They apparently work as OEM with the M8. Also I thought the charge was lasting as long as the stock battery but these do not. I get around 75 percent of the pictures as the stock battery. For the price though they are a good back up.

Yeah, I'll be sending sprokitt an invoice as well :bang: I sort of thought that I'd previously bought a battery that didn't have the relevent circuitry so followed the same lead. Now I have two after market batteries that don't show the correct charge instead of one. They both work so long as I keep track of when they were last charged.

I wish people with an M8 wouldn't assume the M9 is the same beast. Its the same with the confusion contained in 'just use a marker to code the lens', which is also impossible with the M9, just for future reference........;)

Hey guys. I made no claims on M9 performance. Sorry if you had any trouble.
On the brighter side, I'll be happy to test batteries and lenses out for you. Just ship me your M9 and what you want to test, I'll check things out and give you a full report in a couple of months. ;-)
