Aftermaths of violence

Thanks for contributing, everyone.

As Keith so kindly pointed out in #14--and even better, exemplified in #4 with his father/son image + understated list of yesterday's victims--, I was and am still interested in sticking to the W/NW ethos. That is, to share images to evoke whatever feelings or thoughts emerge or erupt in the aftermath of any violence we experience. Colyn's images in #7 and #20 reflect this, too.

Anecdotes are welcome. Opinions about the control of weaponry or lack of it etc. would more appropriately belong in a new thread in the Off Topic forum, and I encourage someone to start it there.

Just a short ride away from Newtown my thoughts and feelings were almost overwhelming Friday. Share your sorrow and love with those who mean the most to you.

This image has been posted to this forum multiple times, but I feel it is completely appropriate for this thread. An image of loss, and of hope.
