AGFA film alert...

You mean the riddle caps? No, sadly they quit selling it in bottles...which they claimed was a step toward reducing landfill waste. I think it finally dawned on them glass weighs a lot more than aluminum. Those riddle caps were a hoot. I thought they did those so you'd know when to stop drinking. When you needed help figuring one out, happy hour was over. Oh, did you know Pearl won the gold medal in the 1991 Great American Beer Festival for the American Lager category? Coors won bronze that year. I don't know why, but the company got very little mileage out of that.

Sorry you didn't like Pearl Light. I've noticed there seems to be lots of individual preferences when it comes to beers. I like others, but I'd say Pearl Light is my overall favorite. Maybe you should give it a second chance. In fact, I'd stop on the way home and pick up a case or three. Christmas eve, leave one for Santa. I've seen pictures of him, and he could definitely stand to lose a pound or two.

Just on your recommendation, I'll give it another try. You've always done right by me so far. By the way, you still have that Contaflex II for me, don't you? The one with the bad flash sync?

I do indeed still have it, amigo. Interesting that you asked about it, actually. I have been hoping for a break in the action...just a couple of hours that I'd need to look into fixing the synch plug or switch, as the case might be. The Goody Goody store on Greenville (near Presbyterian Hospital) is a good place to find Pearl beer, by the way. I may have one myself sometime soon just for good measure. I cooked some chicken outside tonight, and I'll tell you...it was a little nippy to think about having a cerveza.

My apologies, but I just can't make sense out of that statement, mon ami. 🙂

Jon, you're babbling! 😛 Drank too much of that Pearl Lite, did you? 🙂

Anyway, go for your (2nd) beer idea! No risk, no win.

Thanks for translating, Hither. Honestly, I wasn't under the alfluence of inkohol...nothing like that at all. Actually, I didn't drop a single drink all night.

On the topic of this Agfa film, I have extra boxes if anyone wants some. Just let me know, and I'll be happy to send it. I think as respects the USA, using one of the Priority mail flat charge envelopes would be the best alternative. I believe $3.85 will get that envelope to just about anyplace, so that would mean the cost per roll if you got 16 rolls would be...let's see...$5.99 x 1.0825 (tax) = $12.97 + $3.85 + $2 to offset PayPal (ignore if you're sending a check) = either $16.82 or $18.82 or about $1.05 per roll to $1.18.

On the topic of Pearl beer...I'm still thinking about that one.
