Agfa Isolette II feet or meters?

I saw a Agfa Isolette for sale and it has a Solinar lens on a Compur Synchro shutter. The scale is in feet though. Shouldnt the agfas be in meters and the Anscos be in feet? Was this a retrofit?

Agfa presumably did not export to the US, but they'll have sold enough cameras in US version to US soldiers through PX and AAFES stores in Germany to warrant special markings for these alone - just about every GI exploited the tax exemption and currency advantage to buy some German camera at half the US price. Besides, many, maybe even most former parts of the British Empire were not yet metric at that time - so Agfa had plenty of markets to make a feet marked version for.
