Agfa Isopan ISS

A friend gave me ten (!) rolls of 21 DIN (100 ASA) Agfa Isopan in 120, and I've got several rolls that I shot through my 7II Mamiya.

I'd like to know what developers are recommended for this film. Is Rodinal okay? Also, the films expired back in 1973, so I'll have to factor in fog a bit more, I'm assuming.

I was doing a search for pyro developers a couple of weeks ago and ran across a developer said to be especially for outdated films. I just tried to search for it and can't find it now. Maybe somebody can help with that.

Lovely Lovely film. I spent the summer of 1969 in Germany with a Mamiya TLR and Agfa ISS. My negatives are still as nice today as they were then. I hope your film is still good.

36 years is a long time. You'll get fog from cosmic radiation over that period of time, and l wouldn't put much hope in that film even if it had been frozen all the time.

Just about any developer will work OK. The problem is determining developing time. You imply that you still have some unused film from that batch. Try developing just part of a roll and see what it looks like. I suspect that no matter what you use there'll be a lot of background fog. I wouldn't even bother trying it out.
