i recently posted a gallery of my recent scala shots here: http://www.rangefinderforum.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=7649 i would say that my experience has been the same as others, and i love the contrast of this film.

"Scala is B&W for slide shooters; it is not slide film for B&W negative film shooters."
I shoot pretty much only colour slide and don't usually like black and white very much, with the exception of Scala. For my tastes it is a wonderful film, truly deep and smooth blacks, very fine grain, and in my experience not especially problematic to expose or scan.
A bunch of stuff I've shot with Scala is here:

Historicist and terrafirmanada, thanks for pointing me to your scala work. Good stuff! I'm jazzed about shooting with it!

I've got some Scala in the fridge. ... Does it scan well? Any ISO recommendations?
Thanks!
Scans well using a minolta dimage scan elite F-2900. Set the scanner to color transparency and uncheck the ICE option. The iso 200 default is fine - meter to avoid blowing out important highlights.
