Agfapan 25 - found 2 rolls of 35mm

Hi...I found two 36 exp. rolls of Agfapan 25 in a lunchroom fridge at a local museum. They have an expired date from May 94 and were stored on the fridge door. I've put the two rolls in my feezer and intend to expose them soon.

I'd like some opinions from members about using this film. Should I simply shoot and develop normally or should I make some adjustments?

i have had good luck using it normally ... but i came into the game late and only got a few rolls of this in a simialar manner as you had....it is great film

Slower films are less affected by cosmic rays that tend to fog fast films over time. I bulk-loaded Ilford XP1 and Pan-F in Oct 1983, used some and then set photography aside for a while. In the past few years I've used some of this film, kept in the refrigerator all this time, and it's been fine. Hopefully your Agfapan 25 is too, after much less time.

For what it's worth, some of my bulk loads have used those nice snap-cap Agfa cassettes that still bear their Agfa IsopanFF labels. 🙂

For the reasons given by Doug, I would just develop them normally. If you're really concerned, develop 1 normally & see how it comes out & make any adjustments for the 2nd.

FWIW, I recently purchased a big batch of Panatomic-X (ISO 32) which expired in September 1991 & the rolls I've shot so far have developed just fine.

Thanks for the advice...I was just concerned that the door of a small bar fridge is warmer than the middle of the fridge; let alone the freezer.

The rolls are still in unopened boxes so I'll probably just process one roll at a time as furcafe has suggested. I just have to replace the film with 2 rolls of colour print film the museum intends to use at a photo camp for pre-teens.
