No $500k bonds to negotiate with surety companies, no $1,000,000 revenue clients, who really aren't ever right, no carriers sending me quotes telling me they have to get more business.

Ahhh,

I need this weekend. I took Tuesday off too to play with my, oops, I mean Sammy's new toys. :angel:

Christmas time is here.
 
I know it. I'm on vacation as of 5:01pm, and won't be back to work till Jan 2. It's been hectic, but now that the post office is clear, I can finally mail you your film!

Let it snow...
 
More or less the same... Except for the fact that tomorrow my wife and I will go to see the King Tut exhibit in Chicago's Field Museum, and later for some nice dinner around town. Christmas Eve should be more relaxing that that...

Like me ironing shirts.
 
Yesterday was my last day until January 3rd, at my contract job (I'm really retired). The other great thing is, my daughter is having the big Cristmas get together. We'll be bringing squash, but don't have to do the clean up afterward (Yay!!!).

The weather is yucky, no outdoor photography opportunities, but I will be doing the family video thing over the holidays. I like that too - I put it together in iMovie.

By the way... I've been on "vacation" for three days now. The chores aren't finished and I haven't yet had any fun. Maybe tommorrow I will get out to play with my "new" RF camera. I just got some flash bulbs to use with it 😀
 
im sitting at home finally getting around to cleaning the apartment, putting up some decorations with my wife...finally...and drinking a bottle of pinot noir...
life is good....

I was off all last week and am now off today until the 3rd. Going out tomorrow with the kid on our quads to go get all muddy. Then next week is off to NYC for a few days. Hopefully I can squeeze a day or two on the streams as the Steelhead are calling my name.....

i was off today at 3, right after a company lunch and i get to stay home till jan 2!!!!

i never really cared for single malt, a bit too tame for my taste.
i liked a good blend with just a bit of a kick.
along with a fat dominican cigar.

i look forward to some film processing, shooting some fresh film, cleaning up around my messy place and a few really long walks with the dog.

my plan is too shoot all my m lenses and keep track of which shot what.

and then to shoot all my om lenses and do the same.

i have been looking forward to this break for a while now.

kinda sucks cause im back to work tuesday...
and i know it will be busy...
but im enjoying this wekend to the fullest....🙂
 
here in china Christmas is not a day off, its an excuse for girls to go shopping and have the boss make you work late hours for reduced pay.
