Ahhhh, time to relax

Our long Christmas weekend starts with some family over tomorrow for a big feed here. We like to vary things - so this year it's Cuban-style. Feliz Naviadad!

With a large "body count" its a good chance to finally try out the K-Porta freebie. Been planning on that for a while.

Then, a quiet Christmas Eve followed by a nice Christmas Day dinner in Manhattan at a French bistro.

Ahhhh....life is good! 😀

For those of us who are parents, there is no rest for the weary 😉 Perhaps a bit of rum in the egg nog later 🙂

Thanks for reminding me. I just got the kids off to bed. There's a some nog in the fridge and there has to be something to put in it. 😱

I'm off until Jan. 2, it's gonna be nice.

I am off through the 2nd of Jan as well. TOmorrow is my birthday and my wife just bought me some nice gloves. In 2 days is Christmas and I will play with the 75mm cron I purchased last week as my Christmas present. Can't wait for Feb 14. I see a 28mm cron making its way to me 🙂

In our house Chanukah ends and Christmas begins! 🙂 Parties tonight and tomorrow night and Christmas dinner on Monday. 😀 My only sadness is that my oldest daughter is so far away in Fiji. 🙁 That and I return to work on Tuesday... 😱

And the same to you Tom. Yes Peace Corps, she loves it there and we all support her service very much but we miss her terribly, especially at times like this. It is her birthday tomorrow too - actually it is already tomorrow in Fiji... 🙂

Hard to find a more worthy contribution of our culture and country to the world than the Peace Corp ... we should be thanking all the volunteers for making this endeavor and sacrifice, particularly during this season 🙂
