What we need keep in mind is that AI is not yet a finished product. Carping about how it works now is needless. I remember early TV. It wasn't much. Please spare me the comments that TV isn't much now. That is not the point. I am taking technology not content. Thank you.

AI will never be "finished", it can't be, on principle. It might be killed by politics however.

IMO, AI skepticism is healthy: Tech bros are only too happy to have society bear the burdens in exchange for vague promises and a bit of flash, while they and a small number of their cronies reap most of the rewards.
