I picked one up at the camera show today complete with case, instructions, and box in full working condition. I'll probably put it on eBay but want to run some film through it first.

What can I expect from it as far as quality? Is the 4.5cm f/1.9 lens worthwhile??

It's a big heavy chunk of brass and glass. It's roughly the size of the Leica M3. In fact some advertise it as a M3 clone..

d'une cartouche jetable. Préalablement Leica et Contax
utilisaient bien ce film, mais dans des cartouches rechargeables.

Le Aires 35-III est un appareil doté d'un télémètre couplé et à viseur collimaté. Sa finition est très bonne.
L'objectif s'appelle Coral. Il est fixe, mais peut être muni d'un complément optique pour le transformer en petit téléobjectif.

My first 35 mm camera was an Aires 35 III L. I believe that you will like the results that you get with it. I would still be using mine if it had not developed problems with the shutter.

This one is fully working and looks as though it has seen little use..

I did notice a small defect today which I have noted on the auction description. Some previous owner has reglued the side leather piece and left a small gap.
