This is just what we love! Finding information of this kind when you're thinking of buying a camera is like finding a treasure trove. Thanks for providing this valuable service to us who love old cameras. I have not had the pleasure of owning an AkA camera, but the design of these are just fascinating.

As a follow-up: Does anyone one out there own one of the copy stands for the Akarette/akarelle cameras? If so, does it have a serial number? Mine has the number 2 scratched on the rotating disks inner surfaces. Probably a worker's mark to keep track of parts, but I wonder. Not many of these would have been made. Please let me know.
