Aki-Asahi or Cameraleather for new skins?

I have an M2 that badly needs new clothing. I only want your basic, but very durable covering. Does anyone have any experience with the Aki-Asahi AND Cameraleather stuff, and can advise which is more durable and economical for the "normal" skins?

The fancy leathers from Camera Leather look cool, but I'm looking for pure durability and utility.

Thanks!

Covers from both are good. However, I prefer Aki's as IMO the fit is slightly better than Cameraleather's (having experience with both). Also, Aki's prices are better. He responds very quickly and ships almost immediately. I recommend him over Cameraleather, though the latter isn't bad at all either.

I have used both. Camera Leather has a better range of both materials and camera types but they can be expensive and they can be slow. Aki-Asahi is very quick, usually less than a week and much much cheaper for the more exotic ones and also cheaper for the basic ones. My preference would be for Aki is he does it for normal jobs and Camera Leather for the "specials".

My M2 came w/ a cameraleather cover that was not to my taste colorwise. I ordered from Aki-Asahi because of the lower price. Communication and delivery were excellent.

Although my comparison of the two covers is subjective (due to age of covers, color, and pebbling style), I will say that I'm very happy with my Aki-Asahi cover. Application was easy, and I would describe the feel of the basic black (style #4008?) as supple yet firm.

I have a black body Nikon F2A and am looking for new skin. Nothing too far out there but not just the normal black...Any suggestions???
It sits in the bottom half of the camera case...so you wouldn't see the whole camera while shooting but I still would like to see something new...

Thanks for any input...
