hi all, just a few pics for anyone interested. The cover is a 4008 material. I started by pulling off the old cover on the back door which left a lot of old glue on the door. It was a nightmare getting this stuff off and after trying various liquids gave up and used many pieces of sticky tape to dab and physically pull the old stuff off. The thought of having to do the same with the body did not appeal however when I started to pull the body cover off, it came clean away and did not leave anything at all on the body. I did use some 96% alcohol to fit the new one. I found the best way was to lay the cover on the body and then take time folding each end over and around the back. A very small amount of trimming was required at each end of the cover to get it to sit properly against the rear door side rails.

Very nicely done!

I found that using water instead of alcohol made fitting easier as it delayed adhesion for a longer period. I did have to keep checking the fit as the water evaporated though.

For removal, brushing on Goo-Gone helped me remove most of the remaining glue on a M4-P (which should be the same). Brush-on and wait a while. Then a little rub and most of the gunk comes off.

I bought an black ostrich emboss cover some time ago and have yet to use it. It's beautiful!
