Oh dear! That was adding insult to injury even before the cast!

Hope it heals post-haste. On the bright side, it must have made the fishes' day...

Sorry to see this. Love the color of the cast, keeps one humble.
3 months!
Are you going to have a future as a weather prognosticator when all healed?

Get well soon, Mike.
A good rest will result in better recovery and healing.

Photo-wise, get yourself an Exakta (joking.....)

If you had the Dr mount a 1/4-20 bolt to the cast, you could mount a ball head on the cast and mount the camera to the ball head and take pictures......

At least you're done growing. My son fractured his radius when he was 14 y.o. and the growth plate fused. So he ended up with a bone graft and a titanium plate a few years later.

Bummer, Sorry to hear !
I suppose you can put some of your lost shooting time into getting Inspired by some books...
photographers whose Work you love or catch an Exhibition or two

Sorry to read that Mike!

Meanwhile, I'm intrigued by that mantle piece of yours in the back of this image. Did you bag that yourself? Makes up for the missed fish, I'd say! :D
