Anyone familiar with the work of Alexis Armanet? He shot a story for the NY Times Style magazine over the weekend:

I was just really taken with the images and was wondering if anyone knew anything more about his work.

I couldn't find much about him. But I like the photos.

I was trying to figure out if they were 4 x 5 (large format) or 645 (medium format) or digital with fake borders but I tend to doubt that as it's too cheesy for such lovely photos.
The colors are so beautiful and something about the rendering is just very compelling to me. Quite a feat as the subject matter isn't something I would normally be attracted to.

No fake borders. One can clearly read "Kodak" on some of the borders

Yay! Cameras! 🙈🙉🙊┌( ಠ_ಠ)┘ [◉"]
The color palette is lovely. I can barely make out the film type in the right-hand border: Is it "Portra 400"?

I also read Kodak Portra 400

I am not sure, but it seems to me LF

My Pentax 6x7 doesn't have those dimples at the corner. So at least that camera is out. The RB67 does have those dimples.
