Oh, If only it weren't short notice. Brendel is one of my pianistic heroes. He is a towering genius. Someone really should take this opportunity to hear him live.

Wow, Alfred Brendel. I missed an opportunity to see him perform when I was in Vienna almost six years ago.
He is one of the best "classical" pianists alive. His Beethoven and Mozart recordings are some of the best. He understands the music remarkably well.
