just received my order of 10 rolls of ilford sfx film and added it to the recently purchased 50 rolls of hp5 and 50 of agfa apx 100.
and i just placed an order for 20 rolls of fuji 1600.
and my paypal account is pretty near empty now...

I have bulk rolls of Tri-X, APX400, FP4+, HP5+, Neopan Acros, Neopan 400 Presto, Neopan 1600, Neopan 100SS and I think some Pan F in the freezer. Most gotten at incrediable prices (often less than $1.00 a roll when figured).

a while back i bought a bulk loader, a couple of bulk rolls of film and some plastic casettes...and then proceeded to stare at it all till i finally sold it.
looked too much like work for me.
the film buy is a panic response to seeing less of it here at the local pro shop (almost all digital now) and wanting to spend my paypal $$ before i weakened and bought another lens or something else i don't really need.

That SFX should be a lot of fun. I shot some when it first came out, liked it but it didn;t really fit into what I was doing at the time. Might have another look at it this fall. I might get a brick for my Photo 2 class and have them play with it- see what ideas they spark for me.

That's a very good strategy. My SO wonders why I have so much film, partly it is for this reason. If I have it, there is less temptation to buy another piece of gear I don't really need. I always need film.back alley said:

Enjoy the film, Joe. I have to look into getting some myself since I completely spaced off 400 speed film when I made my last huge purchases...and now I'm up to my ears in film slower than 125.
