A few images from our month long hike through this beautiful region..
Nikon D700 and ZF 50/1.4 Planar for this 2 month trip in Europe.

My wife was hiking along the route. I drove from one village to the next point to meet her. Unplanned. Spend the night wherever we stopped..

There is an Alsatian settlement in Texas...I just stayed there last week. It's called Castroville.

In fact, the place we stayed was called The Alsatian Resort and Spa.

Hello David. Thanks for looking in.

I know Galveston, CC, Austin, Ft. Worth, Dallas, Plano in TX. But Castroville,
is new to me. Does it reflect the French region? Like New Orleans.

Take care.

The pictures are great! I mostly know Alsace by their unique, expressive and delicious gewurztraminer and rieslings. Now I can see that the rest of the place is equally delightful!
