Fraid not. Now the Canon, Adobe, Apple, Panasonic, FujiFilm concourses were busy -- just to name a few. I doubt the Leica M area has a 1/10 the visitors at any one time of these more main stream companies. Even relatively speaking, I cannot agree with the easily the busiest statement.

Maybe at the moments these photos were taken but when I hit the Kodak floor today (they had, I'd guess, half of an entire concourse) the place was seriously hopping with activity.

Why not? I think it can for the same reason I check out ferraris at car shows, rather than the toyotas. I know I'll never buy one, so this would be a good chance to check it out. Just my 2c.

He never said it attracted the most people, only that it was the busiest. That could just as well mean a smaller, but more active, crowd... for example, people coming up, muttering "Crikey, that's the most humongous auxiliary viewfinder I've ever seen!" and wandering away again in a daze...

THat was very true indeed when i was there the first day ...... lots of people just checking out what the fuzz is all about .... curious to just hold & try a Leica for a day.
There is sure enough rumour around the Leica brand these days ... just look at Dpreview, Miranda and other mainstream sites where all Leica M8 threads are flooded with trolls ...... mostly Canon shooters wondering why people actually might prefer a M8 to a Canon 350D .... half the Leica booth was filled with this type of people when i was there 😉
