Hi, just lost one of my dp2M batteries...i´m annoyed, i donñt loose things but this time happened.
I need alternatives for purchasing one of them.
I remember there was a post about this topic, but just couldn´t find it.
Please help me to find the battery i need.

The Ricoh gr digital (new apsc) battery is completely compatible. Also any third party like the wasabi batteries sold by amazon are also compatible. The only issue I have ever had w/ wasabi was I never got as many shots as the OEM. I use my sigma batteries in my gr all the time and vice versa.

The wasabi ones work fine, it's "DB65".
Make sure the listing is labeled DB65 *and* the photo of the battery itself shows a label saying DB65. Sometimes some are listed as "db65 compatible" but if you look at the battery label it says NP-50 or DB60 which have the same rectangular shape, but different cut out keying.
I use 3 wasabis and 2 sigmas interchangeably between my dp2m and GR.

GRD batteries (pre GR) are the same as well.

FYI,
I discovered that the Ricoh battery for my GRDIV works for my DP2M, but NOT the offbrand replacement I got for my GRDIV. ( I think it was a Pearstone from B&H) There's some minor difference in the size of a small notch that prevents me from using it in the Sigma. So make sure you actually try the battery before going out on a shoot that you have no spare.
This is all a hypothetical situation of course ;-)
