Hi there
I like the idea of a WLF for my M6 - I like casually shooting on the street so that people act naturally.

However I am reluctant to pay the prices asked for the Leica AUFSU finder - it's just a very simple periscope right? I do compose without using the viewfinder quite a lot with reasonable accuracy, but would really like to see what I'm doing.

Is there an alternative that anybody knows about?

Cheers,
Jack.

Merkin - That is very cool! I bet it looks brilliant mounted on your M4-2. Thanks for the heads up too - I'll have a go if I get a few hours.

Zeiss 436/8, shown below on a Canonet. You can take sneaky shots if you set it like this but I generally use it vertically to frame close-up street shots. It's very effective.
