So... A couple weeks ago I bought a beautiful 90mm Summicron (e55). Today I bought an A. Schacht 90mm Travenar f/2.8 LTM lens with an M-Mount adapter.
Three reasons, it's a fraction of the size of the Summicron, I was curious as to how well it will perform, AND it appears to have nice clean glass for only $95.
Am I crazy, or am I sick? Three weeks ago I had 2 lenses for my M6, now I have 7. Of course 4 of the 5 have been what *I* consider good deals.

You crazy man!
You need a second body to go with all those lenses.

I've got 2 90's (bought an LTM chrome Elmar, then got a Ver. 1 or 2 M mount Summicron) 3 50's (Elmar, Summar, Summicron) and recently a 35mm f2.5 VC. However I spent about 3 years building those up. The Summicron 90mm is great, the 50mm summicron I'm still on the fence. It's an early collapsible, and sometimes isn't as sharp as I would like, but that might be user error.

Trust me, I *DO* need a second body. The photo I just scanned confirms that. I have an occasional light leak issue with my M6 TTL, and really need to send it in, but can't stand the thought of not having a Leica to use while it's in for repair. Plus I need to be able to go out with one body loaded with B&W and one with Colour. That's been the long term plan all along.
In fact I really should bump a 2nd body to the top of my list, before replacing my 50mm Jupiter-8 with Leica glass. I could have looked at a nice M2 with a collapsable 50mm Elmar f/2.8 lens today...

At least there is somewhere I can go where I'm considered normal!
It's just a case of the 90mm Summicron (my dream lens) is one I didn't expect to decide to duplicate.
Now the 135mm Hektor, I only bought that because it was $75 with the lens hood, and the glass is clean. I plan to get a 135mm f/2.8 w/goggles at some point. Then there are the various 50's I want at some point... My first lens was a Jupiter-8, I bought it because it was dirt cheap, and I knew that it was one of the many 50's I want eventually.

Just to talk up the 135/2.8 - it is the best 135 made prior to the 90s. Really nice for portraits. The goggles are, well, inelegant, but entirely functional.
