I finally did it!!! I have cluttered my walls with my photos and have been asked by a few friends for prints. Original rovers are now hanging in a number of homes.

Even though quite a few folks admitted selling (commercial) their prints skewing results toward a greater number of mounted prints, the numbers are still revealing.
2/3s of us make 5 or fewer mounted prints a year. There are an awful lot of very expensive 12, 18, 24 and 36mp cameras making web shots.

I only started to print my digitals in dezember so i only printed about 5.
I could not be happier and i should have made prints much earlier! The look, the "feel" and the appreciation is much higher.
However i now need to get a new monitor with true colors and brightness

Wait, it was for framed prints, not merely mounted ones, right? If we are going to count mounted prints we haven't framed, then I did seven not five. I'm sure that will drastically alter the survey results.
BTW, all the prints I made this year (month) have been wet prints, made in my darkroom. No megapixels involved!
Ask us again in December. I'll probably be up to nine by then!

It did say "this year," didn't it?

This past year I have printed a lot, however only framed about 8 as gifts (11x14 and 16x20 prints in 16x20 and 20x24 frames). I still don't have a single framed photo of my own!
I just bought 6 more frames to finish my living room project.

In this regard yes. It is nice to see my photos out for display. The ones I like. And it is pretty easy. The frames i choose, matted for 8x10 photos are $11 at Ikea. I know there are much better ways to do this, but for my ease and to my eye.... I upload 300 dpi images onto Flickr and order prints through their system. 10 minutes of mounting and measuring and the art is on the wall. I hope this helps others see a low maintenance quick way to do this if that is their barrier.

I framed around 35 or so for am exhibit I have, still going on through April. It started in November last year, so I guess technically that was last year.
This was the first time I hired out the framing. There were some circumstances that put me behind in getting ready for the show, in addition, I printed much bigger than I am capable of mat cutting and framing myself.
